Gabriel S. Makeri is a Nigerian writer and professional miner. He is presently a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development (MMSD) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Makeri has worked in various capacities, including roles as a Desk Officer in Kebbi State and, at different times, the Federal Mines Officer of Katsina, Sokoto and Zamfara states.
Makeri’s has authored three novels, ‘Fear Not, Child’, ‘Roses in the Mines‘ and ‘Rising African Patriots‘ which were published in 2014, 2017 and 2018 respectively.
