The Green Author Prize (GAP) is an annual book publishing award for young unpublished Nigerian writers. The Mission of GAP is to support talented Nigerian writers who cannot afford to publish a full-length book in Nigeria due to the prohibitive costs involved.
Established in 2015, GAP awards a publishing contract to select authors annually. It sponsors both print and electronic publications of prose and poetry books.
GAP is open only to Nigerians 14 to 28 years of age who are resident in Nigeria and have not yet published a full-length book (traditional or self-published).
