BIOGRAPHY:

ALOZOR MICHAEL IKECHUKWU is an award-winning Nigerian poet and Navy Rating. Born on June 8, 1984 as the first child of his parents in Lagos state, he is an indigene of Umumbo in Ayamelum LGA of Anambra state.

Michael has been writing from an early stage in his life. His poems have been published in international and local anthologies as well as numerous online platforms. He is inspired by everything around him. In 2005, he was one of the National Winners of the ‘Scenarios from Africa’ and in 2013, he was named the Words Rhymes & Rhythm ‘NIGERIAN POET OF THE YEAR’.

He published his first book, ECHOES AND SHADOWS, in November 2016.
