BIOGRAPHY:

Jesurobo-owie Gift Imafidon is a prolific writer who hails from Benin City. Gift is a graduate of Agriculture from the University of Benin, where he bagged awards as the best graduating student of his department.
He is also a chartered accountant who practices as an auditor in one of the leading banks in Nigeria.
As an alumnus of the prestigious Pan African University, School of media and communication, he has a certificate in screenwriting. His project script for a short film-Darkest Night was adjudged the best for 3 sets at the school.
His skills and expertise cut across diverse fields: screenwriting, film making; banking; accounting; programme concept and development; speech coaching and poetry.
His literary works have been published in various media within and outside the country. His first book, ‘Obeisance to the mind’ (a collection of poems) was well received by poetry scholars and readers in Nigeria and beyond.
SCARS (Poems from a voyage in the Savannah) is his second book.
He was the Initiator and pioneer Administrator of the Indomitable Youths Organisation (An NGO)(1997-2006) in Benin City with the sole aim to educate, inform and entertain the youths and also empower the youths to work towards a better nation.
Gift is married to the beautiful Osasere and they both live in Lagos, Nigeria.
