Nwodibo Ekechukwu, a Commissioner of Police, retired, studied Political Science at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Law at Imo State University, Owerri and the Nigerian Law School. He also attended courses at the Police Staff College, Jos, EFCC Training Institute, Abuja, International Police Organisation (INTERPOL) Headquarters in Lyon, France, United Nations Office On Drug and Crime (UNODC) in Vienna Austria, International Anti-Corruption Academy in Luxembourg, Austria and the Guardia Di Finanza Scuola Di Polizia Tributari, Rome. He has equally attended conferences and meetings in Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Brazil, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the USA, among other places. He was at various times in-charge INTERPOL, Abuja Bureau, Acting Commissioner of Police Kaduna State Command, Commissioner of Police, Legal, Force Headquarters Abuja, Taraba State Command, Community Policing, Force Headquarters Abuja, Enugu State Command and the Eastern Ports Authority Police, Port Harcourt. He has won honours and awards.
A prolific freelance writer in his student days, he currently runs a Law firm.
