Ebidenyefa Tarila Nikade is a wife, mother, Educationist, teen mentor, counsellor, broadcast Journalist and public speaker who believes in creating platforms for young people to express themselves.
Ebidenyefa who authored a ‘These Words Are Not Mine’ a collection of poems majorly themed around womanhood, is passionate about women and children, especially the sexually abused; hence her writings are centred on such themes.
Ebidenyefa holds a B.ed and MA from the then Rivers State College of Education and University of Port Harcourt respectively.
She is the CEO of Creative Xpressions – a foundation set up to discover, inspire, encourage and assist youths realize their potential by providing a positive platform for them to express their thoughts, opinions, ideas and most of all their creativity.
This, she has achieved through her inspirational programme on radio “Creative Xpressions “. In 2012, it emerged best radio programme at the maiden edition of Bayelsa Media Awards.
She is a staff of Bayelsa State Universal Education Board, presently working with Basic Junior Secondary School Tombia, Yenagoa, and is also the Organizer of ‘Spelling Bee Bayelsa’ targeted at improving the vocabulary of children and encouraging the spirit of sportsmanship.
She presently lives in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state, with her husband and daughter.
She has written two books; ‘Vulnerable Chronicles’, her debut novel, and ‘These Words Are Not Mine’, a collection of poems.
