VANGER FATER – a graduate of English from the Benue State University, Makurdi – hails from Buruku LGA of Benue State. Born in a family of six, Vanger Fater is blessed with loving parents, three sisters and two brothers who have been his source of inspiration.

As an undergraduate, he was actively involved in Students’ Unionism where he rose to become the Acting Departmental President; and was an active member of Writers’ League, a creative body aimed at strengthening the spirit of creativity in young and budding writers.

While in Edo state as a National Youth Service Corps member, he was the News Editor of OBS after serving as Editor of The Panorama, a campus newspaper of Benue State University.

He is currently working on his debut novel – A Woman’s Pride – and has written a collection of short stories titled The Hotel Jorvina and other Stories which is still in the process of publication. His poetry collection, Sounds and Echoes Within, is also on the verge of publication.
