WAZANI ADAMU IJARAFU, co-author of VERSES FROM THE NIGER

WAZANI ADAMU IJARAFU was born in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. He hails from Gulak, Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State. He had his primary education at Police Children School Jos, his secondary education at Government Secondary School, West of Mines, Jos, Plateau State and currently pursuing a degree program in education (mathematics) at the Federal University of Maiduguri, Borno State.
His poems have appeared on Society of Young Nigerian Writers, Kalahari Review, Blackboy Review and elsewhere. He is emotionally engaged to poetry. Sometimes his poems are inspired by listening to the guitar being played. Inspiration to write comes to him whenever he visits art galleries to look at paintings and sculptures.
When he is not writing, you often find him in the library reading different books of interest.
